How To Get a Tattoo Without Feeling Any Pain
Maybe you’ve finally decided to get a tattoo, or maybe you’re a tattoo artist looking to improve the client experience. Either way, there’s one major sticking point: tattoos hurt!
No matter how skilled the artist or how prepared the client, sitting still for hours on end while getting a needle jammed into your skin is… less than pleasant. It can be enough to turn people off the perfect tattoo, especially those with a fear of needles. As tattoo enthusiasts ourselves, we at Numbed Ink decided it was time to find a solution. We came up with our Signature Numbing Cream, a revolutionary topical anesthetic for a perfect, completely painless tattoo.
How To Use Numbing Cream
Not only is our Signature Numbing Cream effective, it’s ridiculously easy to use.
Start by washing the area you’re applying the cream to, and rub in a large amount. Afterwards, apply plastic wrap to the area, and wait for 1-2 hours, giving the active ingredients a bit to numb the skin. Once you’re done waiting, release the area from its cellophane prison, wipe away the excess cream, and that’s it!
No, really. You’re done.
With that oh-so-difficult ordeal out of the way, tattoo pain is a non-issue for about 3-5 hours, or 5-7 if you go for the Signature+ cream.
If you’re halfway through a tattoo and the numbing begins to wear off, don’t worry about it, just slap on a bit more numbing cream for extra pain relief. This time around, you’ll only have to wait for 20-30 minutes, as the needle piercings in the skin will allow the anesthetic to work its magic that much quicker. After that, you can get right back to it, simple as that. Depending on what sort of tattoo you want, you may want a bit more to make sure you can stay numb throughout.
How Much Numbing Cream Do I Need?
For your standard small tattoo, you’ll only need a tube or so, but for something complex like a full sleeve, you may want as many as five tubes of tattoo numbing cream, especially if you’re sensitive to pain. As long as you apply often enough, however, you won’t even know the needle is there.
Benefits of Using Numbing Cream
Is there really any need to explain why you’ll appreciate numbing cream? You’re getting a pain free tattoo. You’re cutting out the most unpleasant part of the tattoo process. What more can a tattoo enthusiast ask for?
Jokes aside, once you’ve tried it, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it. No need to brace yourself, grit your teeth, or any of that nonsense. Just walk into the parlor, sit down, and get a tattoo. You’ll be able to worry less, take fewer breaks, and enjoy the process more, all without a peep from the tattooed area.
No pain, no gain? Never heard of it.
Why Tattoo Artists Recommend Numbing Cream
Once again, the benefits of a good numbing cream to tattoo artists is obvious. Even the most needle-nervous of clients have nothing to worry about, and hey, the regulars will appreciate it too. It’s the perfect improvement to the tattoo experience, netting you new clients and keeping long-time clients happy to boot. In addition, the reduced need for breaks means you can do the same quality work in significantly less time.
Essentially, you’re getting more work done in the same amount of time and an improved client experience, and the profits will reflect that. It’s the tattoo artist’s dream, and there’s no time like the present to stock up.
